Plaque says: "EARL BEEZELY Syracuse, Nebraska In recognition of his achievements in thoroughbred racing. After a successful career as a harness horse driver and trainer, including the Grand Circuit, Earl Beezley turned to training Thoroughbreds. Among his most prominent patrons was William Boeing of Seattle, Washington. Mr. Beezley raced from coast to coast and has missed but a few meeting in the past 37 years at Ak-Sar-Ben. Among the outstanding thoroughbreds trained by him were Grasshopper II, Sobriety, {last two names are unreadable}."
